National Convener, Elliot Jackson, says: “CHS takes is responsibilities for Panel Member well-being seriously; our volunteers are carrying out complex and sensitive roles which require can take up considerable mental energy. While supporting local children and families through the Children’s Panel is often fulfilling, it can also be overwhelming or challenging at times.
“That’s why it’s important for CHS to continue to invest and adopt a proactive approach to wellbeing and ensure we support the our volunteers as much as possible.”
