Being a Panel Member in Argyll and Bute

As part of your role as a Panel Member in Argyll and Bute you will be expected to commit to sit on up to two children’s hearings every month and also to attend six learning and development opportunities per year held either virtually or in person for approximately one hour. There will also be two Area Days held throughout the year.

Hearings schedule

 

You will be expected to participate in up to two hearings per month either virtually or in person.

 

Currently the local hearings schedule is:

 

Monday mornings - virtual

Tuesday mornings – face to face/blended at Greenock hearings centre

Wednesday afternoons – virtual

Friday mornings – virtual

Friday afternoons – face to face/blended at Dumbarton hearings centre (last Friday of month if required)
