What to expect when applying for a job at CHS

We operate a fair and transparent recruitment process, which is administered through our HR team. We are also a Disability Confident employer and welcome applications from any individual who meets the necessary criteria for the job and to work with us.

If you are applying for any of our advertised roles please first clearly demonstrate where you meet the Essential Criteria for the role, and as much of the Desirable Criteria as possible. The criteria information is documented within the Person Specification of each individual vacancy.

Applications for jobs are only be accepted upon completion of the our application form, and CVs are not accepted. If you require assistance in submitting your application please get in touch with us at jobs@chs.gov.scot.

We issue all correspondence to applicants and candidates via email, unless an alternative method of communication has been agreed in advance.  If you have not heard back from us at least 2 weeks after the closing date of the role you are applying for, please assume that you have not been short-listed for interview and further assessment.
